Whether you are hiring a photographer for your wedding, a birthday bash, or dinner event it is important to make sure that you and your photographer discuss the photos you want to collect during the event. It might be the grooms expression of happiness when his bride walks down the aisle, it might be the crowd expressions when the birthday boy/girl walk into a surprise party. Whatever it may be it is imprortant to jot down those ideas and express them with your hired photographer.
Often times people hire a photographer and think that they will be there for every moment catching every single thing that happens during the event. Although this is how it should be sometimes it is not. First thing to do is to look at the photographer portfolio. What type of shots do they get? Do they catch those great moments?
